Edward & Sylvie Hyde first moved to Malaysia in April 1997. Edward, a British national, has an extensive background in food & beverage including running the Harvey Nichols Restaurants in London, Sylvie, a French national, also experienced in the restaurant biz, is the driving force behind the Ozmosis Health & Day Spa. Falling in love with Kuala Lumpur, they set out on their own to make a mark on the up and coming culinary scene of the city. Opening their first La Bodega on Telawi Street in December 1999, little did they know their venture would grow to include nine outlets plus a tropical spa and a catering service by 2011.
